"Riding
a horse helped my son
to
walk on the ground.
As
you watch, you see happiness
and
pride surrounding each rider
at
Lift Me Up!"
S. Mills,
Parent of a Lift Me Up! student
I
believe in you...
Those
big round eyes of the innocent child
Touched my heart deep inside.
Tender teardrops rolled down her face
She could not walk, nor talk but yet she smiles.
Always dependent on someone to take her around.
She could see the nature, but could not step on the ground.
Then one day there she was, behind the window trying to hide.
Galloping across I saw her smile, I said, "come on let's go for a
ride."
She came out, riding her wheel chair.
Showing life sometimes, just isn't fair.
She couldn't walk but did not loose hope.
She mounted the horse and pulled the rope.
Her eyes spoke what she could not say.
Upon the horse she guided her way.
And then one day she began to walk and
with happiness glowing she began to talk.
It gave me immense satisfaction, to guide her through.
As she looked towards the heavens and said, "God I believe in you."
