Lift Me Up! is a therapeutic horseback riding program that is dedicated to providing safe and effective instruction to children and adults with a variety of disabilities. We teach riding skills adapted to the individual's cognitive and physical needs. By combining the unique and special presence of the horse and the skills and caring of our registered instructors, we have been able to help hundreds of people gain confidence, strength, and invaluable self-esteem in a friendly, fun environment. Participation in Lift Me Up! has helped our students to sit or stand unassisted, walk independently, improve their focus and attention span, and enhance their social and communication skills.

Lift Me Up! was founded in 1975 by Colleen Zanin, OTR. Over the years we have expanded our programs to incorporate innovative growth in the therapeutic riding industry. Today, at our PATH Premier Accredited Center, we have over 115 riders participating in our programs and virtually no wait list. In most cases we can accommodate prospective riders in less than three months. Our riders range in age from 3 to 60+ years old. Our staff includes PATH (formerly known as NARHA) certified therapeutic riding instructors, at either the registered or advanced level. Our service offerings include weekly therapeutic riding lessons, summer camps for students and volunteers, and a veterans riding program.
