2007 TRAV Show Results
Congratulations to everyone for a great 2007 TRAV Show. Thanks to the great
efforts of all 22 riders on the Lift Me Up! team, we were the 2007 Reserve
Champion Center. We have never placed that high before. So, everyone pat
yourselves on the back for helping our team do the best we have ever done.
Also, thank you to the wonderful volunteers for helping make the effort run
smoothly. Thank you so very much to Callie Briscoe, Hillary Ens, Megan
Fitzgerald, Steven Hirsch, Kathleen Nettnin, Mark Leland, Jennifer Lucier,
JoAnna Pierce and Elliot Wolfe. You made things run so efficiently. There
should be a volunteer award and all of you would get it.
And, while we are talking awards, beautiful Bella was named the 2007 TRAV
Horse of the Year. This was another first. Bella now has a lovely purple
sash, her picture in the TRAV newsletter, a new leather halter and a tack
box full of grooming and beauty supplies. We are all proud of Bella.

The weather was great for this TRAV show; and despite Mo having a few
misgivings about being in a large indoor arena, everything went well. And
Andy Pony, while not winning any official awards, wins our award for being
the cutest pony. He was the comic relief of the show, insisting that
everyone Pay Attention To The Pony. And if they didn't he might poke you,
kick his stall or steal your water bottle. We found him very amusing.
Hopefully, others were at least sort of amused.
We also had Division Champions. Kim Buseman was the Division Champion in
the Walk Division, Katie Metro was the Reserve Champion at Intermediate Trot
